Why do we need the boosters

Masco Athletics Fees (Approx. $800/hockey player) are 100% utilized by the school to subsidize: uniforms, coaching fees, ice time, referee fees and player transportation to away games.

The fees do NOT cover the following items:
  • Apparel for players such as practice shirts, winter hats and warm ups apparel
  • Team building events
  • Banquet and end of season gifts, etc.
  • Game announcers
How you can help

The booster program is only successful with the support and involvement  of our parents.  Volunteers are essential for the success of the program as we coordinate many activities. A strong boosters program can only be sustained through your participation.

Please consider volunteering to chair or participate in the program. There are MANY various open opportunities. The board tries to meet monthly between September and January. For information, please contact a Board Member at: mascoboyshockeyboosters@gmail.com

How we fundraise

The Masco Boys Ice Hockey Boosters has a main fundraiser:

Additional fundraising is accomplished through 50/50 raffles at home games.
In addition to the fundraising we also coordinate an annual fundraiser for charity. For the past few years the program has raised money for Diabetes in former Masco Hockey Chieftain Brandon Lafata’s name.  A fundraising event close to our hearts and will continue for years to come.All funds raised are used for the various activities and items listed on this page with any balance carried forward to kick off the next season.
